Message: Our 10 day Paradise tour started with 2 nights at your Inn. It is conveniently located near the Airport in a quite residential area, with a good size shopping centre nearby: perfect to avoid the hustle-bustle of the city! We found the hotel staff very friendly & cooperative, the rooms were very clean and well maintained. The continental breakfast was good & wholesome (we did not take lunch or dinner). The pool & surrounding garden was pleasant and well maintained. Overall: a very pleasant experience amongst friendly staff. Suggestions: (1) Have an extra waste-bin in the bedroom area, and (2) whenever possible, replace existing hot & cold water taps with mixer taps, as the hot water is quite hot, and it wld make it convenient to mix water to suitable temperature! (Though must say, we did NOT find mixer taps in any hotel in all other locations in NZ!). I stayed one night - comfortable bed, hot shower, clean towels and great coffee. Staff were really friendly and accomodating. Overall a good experience and I would recommend the hotel, for a conference or stayover. Also we had flat batteries in the remote control, a blown light bulb, stained carpet and a rodent bait station beside the fridge - which were all a little off putting. After a long journey from the UK, we had just a short drive to this wonderful hotel. We stayed in a family room, very spacious and great facilities, especially the pool. The kids made use of it in no time!
We began our tour of New Zealand in Auckland and worked our way to the south island, wow what a great start to our 3 week holiday. First impressions do count, and we enjoyed our stay so much we will come back here again. We recommend the Airport Garden Inn Hotel to anyone wishing to make a great start to their holiday or a business trip. Best of luck!
